Located on the secluded and stunning Kalametiya beach on Southern Coast of Sri Lanka the villa is built on an idyllic spit of land nestled between the ocean and lagoon.
Built buy an expatriate family from Sydney, the name Tanderra meaning ‘a restful place’ is taken from the language of the Indigenous Australians. Embracing the natural beauty and cooling breezes of the Indian Ocean, the Villa offers informal and comfortable open plan living, a place for friends and families to spend their days swimming, exploring, feasting or just relaxing in one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in Sri Lanka.

The Villa is rented out for your exclusive use and is fully staffed with a chef and two general staff. Simply and comfortably decorated with teak and cane furnishings, a forty foot swimming pool, a sound system, flat-screen TV with Cable and WiFi complete the picture.

Seasonal produce and Sri Lankan food at its best
Local produce and seasonal food is our focus wherever possible. With abundant seafood at our doorsteps as well as plenty of farming in the area, our seafood, fruit and vegetables come from local farmers and fishermen. We recommend an early morning visit to harbour, with our chef, as the local fishing fleet returns to port with the nights catch, a wonderful opportunity to select from the fresh and abundant fruits of our local seas.
